The briefing

Thirty minutes, in the version that matches your unit.

Florida circuits organize self-help assistance in different ways. The walkthrough is the same product in each case, but the order and the emphasis change. Select the arrangement closest to yours and the agenda below is the one we will follow.

How is your self-help unit organized?

Staffed self-help center: the agenda.

Attending from your side: Trial Court Administrator, self-help center supervisor, county technology staff.

  1. 0–5 min

The counter as it stands today

We describe the intake sequence a staffed center already follows and name the points where a record is created, so the rest of the walkthrough maps onto work you recognize.

  2. 5–15 min

    Intake, referral and packet handling

A full litigant interaction from the staff side: identity and case type captured once, the referral recorded where the referral is made, the packet issued and logged without a second entry.

  3. 15–22 min

    The supervisor view

Daily volume, waiting time, referral destinations and the interactions that do not fit a category. Uncategorized work is shown, not absorbed.

  4. 22–27 min

    Roll-up to circuit and state

The same records read at county, circuit and state level, with the reporting fields the state asks for identified by name.

  5. 27–30 min

    Questions from technology staff

Where the data lives, who can read it, what a departure removes, and how the environments are separated.

What is true of every version.

  • The walkthrough is given on the product, not on slides.
  • No pricing is discussed. Pricing is set by the government body.
  • Nothing is asked of your staff before the briefing and nothing is installed after it.
  • County technology staff are welcome for the whole thirty minutes, not only the last three.
